bois), marble (faux marbling or faux marbre), stone, fantasy finishes, and more!

Painting Seminars
Trompe-L'Oeil painting at
the College of the Canyons!
This comprehensive 8 hour hands-on seminar is for decorators, muralists,
or hobbyists, who want to learn how to create more depth and
dimension in their murals. By learning the basic principles of Trompe-L'oeil
painting, students will create architectural dimension on a flat
surface by manipulating values of color and learn how to render light,
shade, and cast shadows. Students will be taught basic steps for
creating three-dimensional blocks, brick, stone and architectural
moldings on sample boards to keep for their own portfolios! Loaner
brushes provided in class, but feel free to bring your favorite #2,#4,#6,
and #8 flat and round brushes! Class limited to 15
students, so sign up early!
